The Filing

Hana Financial Group (KRX: 086790) filed an amendment on 1 October 2026 to its 24 July 2026 share cancellation decision. The buyback that feeds the cancellation has closed, so the amendment fixes the numbers: 1,885,706 common shares will be cancelled, bought for KRW 249.75bn (~$183.3M). The cancellation itself has not happened yet; its date is still open.

What It Literally Says

Four items changed. Item 1, shares to be cancelled, fell from 1,915,708 to 1,885,706. Item 2, issued common shares, fell from 274,367,748 to 270,969,910 because a separate 3,397,838 shares were cancelled on 28 August 2026. Item 4 went from the board's KRW 250bn (~$183.5M) ceiling to the actual acquisition cost of KRW 249.75bn (~$183.3M). Item 5, the end of the buying window, moved from 22 October to 1 October 2026 (settlement basis). The original share count was sized on the 23 July close of KRW 130,500 (~$95.80). Item 7, the cancellation date, is blank: the filing says it will be set after consultation with the relevant authorities. The shares were bought on the exchange through Hana Securities, and the cancellation reduces the share count, not capital.
