Alpha Signals

When Korean companies act, we tell you what it means.

Alpha Signals are KoreaAlpha's investment-grade briefings on major Korean corporate actions — published 2–3 times per week when the data warrants it.
Each Signal covers one event: a buyback announcement, a governance change, a Value-Up disclosure, a policy shift. It gives you the fact, the interpretation, and the conviction read — in under 800 words.

What Every Alpha Signal Contains

WHAT HAPPENED The verified facts from the DART filing. No estimates. No interpretation yet. Just what the document actually says.
THE REAL STORY The reading a foreign investor would miss without local context. What is management actually signalling? How does this connect to succession dynamics, cross-shareholding structure, or the Value-Up program?
THE TELL The single word, number, or structural choice in the filing that reveals intent. "Cancel" versus "hold." A floor versus a range. What's conspicuously absent. This section is why KoreaAlpha subscribers read every Signal.
CONVICTION READ Not a buy/sell call. A direct assessment of how credible the stated commitment is — and the single reason for that assessment.
WATCH NEXT The specific, observable event that would confirm or falsify the signal. Checkable. Time-bound.
